- Advanced knowledge of residential low voltage installation procedures and guidelines
- Advanced knowledge of:
- Audio/Video systems
- Home network systems
- Control/Automation systems
- Luma camera surveillance systems
- New construction pre-wire and existing home wiring
- Advanced troubleshooting of audio/video and control systems
- Strong programming of Control 4, Savant, Araknis and Luma systems
- Advanced understanding of multi-room A/V and Control systems and setup
- Understanding of security system installation,
- programming and design
- Tech 2 or better certifications (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Completion of ProSource University within the first year of employment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
- Ability to work on rotating “on-call” service schedule
- Proficient in all Lead level qualifications
- Assist in training and evaluation of up to Lead level technicians
- Excellent skills with desktop and mobile computing
- Clean driving record and background check (required for DCJS certification)
- Minimum of 2 years of field experience
